What is actually in the template library

1,094 finished designs — 668 video reels and 426 image posts — counted from the app's own library rather than rounded for a headline. Here is how they break down, what each one is for, and which platform each export is shaped for.

668 reel templates, by pack

A pack is what the video is for. The Premium pack is much the largest because it is the one built for the Indian market — price reveals, project tours, EMI explainers and luxury walkthroughs — where most of the demand is.

Five style systems

A style system is what the video looks like — the type, the motion and the colour logic. Every pack is available across the styles, so the same "just listed" structure can read as a luxury listing or as a fast social edit.

How long a reel actually is

The median template is 10 seconds and runs between 1 and 9 frames — a frame being one slide of text over a photo or clip. That is deliberate: a listing reel that runs past about fifteen seconds loses most of its audience before the call to action, and a template that needs twenty photos is a template nobody finishes.

It also sets the render cost. A finished reel is roughly seventeen seconds of server CPU, which is why plans are metered in reels and not in image posts — a post is rendered on your own phone and costs nothing to make.

426 image-post designs

Posts are the other half of the library and the half that gets used daily: price cards, feature grids, quote posts, flyers and text-only designs. They render on the device, so they are cheap and the allowances are generous.

One listing is six posts, not one

The most common mistake with a template library is using it once per property. A listing has stages, and each one is a different post to a different audience — the people waiting for it, the people deciding to view it, and the sellers on the street watching how you handled it.

StageWhat to postPack
Coming soonA teaser with the street but not the address — builds a waiting list before the photos are ready. Property Status
Just listedThe walkthrough. Best three rooms, price on screen, one call to action. Property Listing
Open houseDate and time card, then a Story on the day. Short, dated, disposable. Property Listing
Price changeA price-drop card. The most-shared post type there is, and the one agents skip. Property Status
Under offerSocial proof for the next seller watching. No details, just momentum. Property Status
SoldThe result, with what it says about the street. This is the post that wins the next mandate. Property Status

What each platform does to your video

Every template exports vertical at 1080 × 1920, which is what the feeds want. What differs is how much of the frame the platform covers with its own interface — and that is what decides whether your price is readable or sitting under a comment button.

PlatformRatioPixelsLengthWhat to keep clear
Instagram Reels9:16 1080 × 1920Up to 3 minutesKeep text clear of the bottom ~250 px and the right ~120 px — captions and the action rail sit there.
Instagram Stories9:16 1080 × 192060 seconds per cardTop ~250 px carries the profile row; the bottom ~250 px carries the reply bar.
YouTube Shorts9:16 1080 × 1920Up to 3 minutesTitle and channel overlay the lower third — keep the price out of it.
Facebook Reels9:16 1080 × 1920Up to 90 secondsSame lower-third problem as Instagram; Facebook also crops the top in some placements.
WhatsApp Status9:16 1080 × 192060 seconds per clipLonger videos are split into 30-second cards, so the hook has to land in the first one.
Portal / MLS listing16:9 1920 × 1080Varies by portalHorizontal, not vertical — a Reel uploaded here shows as a letterboxed strip.

Platform limits change without notice; these are the published limits as of September 2026. The safe-area advice is the practical version — leave the lower third of the frame free of anything you need read, and you are covered everywhere.

All 1,094 are in the free plan's library

The free plan limits how many you export a month, not which ones you can open. Make two and see whether the format works for your market.

Questions

How many real-estate video templates does PropVid have?

668 reel templates and 426 image-post designs, 1,094 in total. The reels are split across six packs — the largest is Premium at 469 — and five style systems.

How long should a real estate reel be?

The median template here is 10 seconds. Instagram, Facebook and YouTube all allow far longer, but a listing reel that runs past roughly fifteen seconds loses most viewers before the call to action.

What size is an Instagram Reel for a property?

1080 × 1920 pixels, 9:16 vertical. Keep anything that must be read — the price, your number — out of the bottom quarter of the frame, where the caption and action buttons sit.

Can I use the templates on the free plan?

The whole library is browsable on every plan. What the free plan limits is how many finished exports you make each month, not which templates you can open.

Do the templates work outside India?

Yes — the packs include country sets for the USA, UK, UAE, Canada, Australia and Singapore. The Premium pack is the India-specific one and is the largest, because that is where most of the demand is.
